Lindha Kallerdahl is considered as one of Sweden's most important and influential improvisers. Since her international debut in 2000 she has performed in many countries in various collaborations and released several albums. She has performed with Sonic Youth, William Parker, Ikue Mori, Palle Danielsson and Fredrik Ljungqvist to name a few. Lindha’s voice is often described as limitless in its range and abilities. She is a true sound artist. At the same time she has unique sensibility in her voice and harbors a great respect for the great jazz masters and the classic jazz repertoire. The most recent album "Rainbow" features Ingebrigt Hiker Flaten on bass and Andreas Werliin on drums and was nominated for the Swedish prestigious Manifest-prize. Kallerdahl is currently working with the project WOICE ensemble featuring some of the most personal voice artists in Sweden and Denmark; Mariam Wallentin, Katinka Fogh Vindelev and
Anja Tietze Lahrmann. Lindha has been bestowed with many prestigious awards. For example the Jazz in Sweden-prize, Guest of honor - Umeå Jazz Festival and "Jazzkannan".
